type!beat hosts user-uploaded beatmaps: lyric timing data packaged together with audio and artwork. If you are a rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and believe content hosted here infringes your copyright, we will take it down.
How to file a takedown notice
Send a notice containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (e.g. song title, artist, registration or release reference).
- The URL(s) of the infringing material on this site (beatmap page links, e.g. /beatmapsets/123).
- Your contact information: name, email address, and (optionally) postal address or phone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Valid notices are processed promptly; infringing material is removed and the uploader is notified. Repeat infringers lose upload access.
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details, identifying the removed material and stating under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
